SignWell

The SignWell Pack for Coda is a community-built Pack (not an official SignWell product) that lets you send a PDF stored in a Coda row out for e-signature via SignWell without leaving your Coda doc. You install the Pack from the Coda Pack gallery, connect it to your SignWell API key, and then call the Pack's formula from a button or automation in your Coda table. The Pack uploads the PDF attached to a row and creates a SignWell document, triggering the normal SignWell signing email to your recipient. Coda automations can watch for status changes — for example, updating a 'Signed' field when SignWell reports completion — giving you a lightweight contract-tracking table inside Coda. Because it was originally built for a single firm, the feature set is narrow: only one external signer per document is supported in the base version, and the Pack author has stated they'll add features on request. Data flows: PDF file from a Coda row → SignWell (document created, signing email sent to recipient). Signing status can flow back to Coda via automations watching SignWell webhook events or polling. Pain points: This is a community Pack, not maintained by SignWell, so it may lag behind SignWell API changes. Only one signer per document is supported out of the box. The Pack requires a paid Coda plan for more than 100 event-based automation runs per month, which limits high-volume use. No native support for multi-step signing orders or SignWell templates.
